There are two ways in which you can approach a User32.dll error. The first way would only apply if you know the program that is causing the error to occur. If that is the case then execute the following steps:
- Click the start button on your computer.
- Select Add/Uninstall Programs.
- Uninstall the program in question.
- Reinstall the program in question.
- Restart your computer for changes to take hold.
The other method is to simply update your Windows operating system. For this option, follow the following steps:

- Click Windows Update.
- Click Change Settings.
- Find and select the option that you want.
