If your copy of Act of War: High Treason won’t launch and you see no error message, try this;

• Go to the installation folder of Act of War: High Treason.
• Look for “9760_install.vdf” file and open it with any text editor (I prefer Notepad++).
• Find “WINXPSP3” (There are more than one).
• Replace them with “WIN8” (Don’t worry, even if you don’t use Windows 8, it will work. It just changes the compatibility mode).
• Save file.
• Launch Act of War: High Treason.

This will fix your problem 🙂
