When players attempt to play Sonic Generations, “No valid Graphics Configuration File found, please run the Configuration Tool and Save” error message appears on the console.
The problem is, it is not possible to save the settings. In this post, you’ll learn how to fix this error.
Fix 1: Remove graphicsconfig.cfg
- Open Windows file explorer.
- Look for three files: graphicsconfic.cfg, statsconfig.cfg, and defaultinput.cfg.
- Remove only “graphicsconfig.cfg” file.
- Run the Configure tool after deleting graphicsconfig.cfg.
- Check the settings and save until you’re satisfied.
That’s all. Sonic Generations should work properly now.
If the game still won’t launch, delete all three files I mentioned above and repeat the procedure.
